Look at these forms: Affirmative form
I am = I`am I am

You are = Your`re You are

He is = He’s He is

She is = She’s She is

It is = It’s It is

We are = We’re We are

They are = They’re They are

Short answers

When we answer a quistión, we can use short responses.

Note: We don’t use contractions in the affirmative form of the short answers.
